Open Hand Theater offers a 1-3 week summer camp for ages 4-18 throughout the year. Sign your child up for a summer of making life-long memories at Open Hand Theater in a fun, supportive and creative environment. Whether they are a beginner looking to learn the basics of performance or a more advanced actor looking to hone their skills, our team of professional teaching artists will help them feel the confidence to contribute and the courage to try something new.
While at camp your child will experience all of the benefits that theatre has to offer: Meeting lifelong new friends, team building exercises, research, audition experience, acting on stage, working with props and costumes, professional teachers and staff, recreational activities and much more! Over the course of two weeks, campers will create their own theatrical adaptations inspired by classic and popular children’s stories. Their original work will be performed for family and friends on the final day of camp.
